DD West 2026 NewsLetter

FEBRUARY

February is a month of reflection, love, wellness, and recognition.
As we move forward together, we take this time to honor the compassion,
dedication, and professionalism that each member of the DD West team brings
every day. Your commitment to those we serve and to one another continues to
shape a culture rooted in respect, care, and purpose.

This month, we also recognize Black History Month, a time to acknowledge the
strength, resilience, and contributions of Black leaders, caregivers, advocates,
and communities past and present who have helped pave the way for progress,
equity, and opportunity. Their legacy reminds us of the importance of unity,
understanding, and continued growth.

February also invites us to reflect on love in its many forms ,love for our work,
for our community, and for ourselves. We encourage everyone to prioritize
wellness, practice self-care, and support one another as we continue striving for
excellence together.

Thank you for all that you do. Your efforts matter, your work is valued, and your
presence makes a difference.

With gratitude,
~DD West Leadership~

Happy Black Histoty Month

Black History Month is a time to honor the strength, brilliance, and resilience
of Black people throughout history and today. It is a time to reflect on the
contributions that have shaped our communities, our culture, and our nation
often in the face of injustice, barriers, and adversity. From inventors and
educators to artists, leaders, and everyday heroes, Black history is American
history.
This month reminds us that progress was built on courage, unity, and the
belief that change is possible. It calls us to not only remember the past, but to
carry forward its lessons by supporting equity, celebrating diversity, and
uplifting one another. As we recognize Black History Month, let us commit to
learning, listening, and honoring the legacy of those who paved the way for a
stronger future for all.
